Giovanni Favero

For over thirty years, he has worked in the graphic and publishing industry, performing various activities such as photographic shooting, material preparation, layout, printing, and quality control. He is among the pioneers in the use of computers, studying and creating Computer Graphic projects with the first revolutionary Apple Computer systems.
He became a point of reference with national projects in computer science applied to Desk Top Publishing and Digital Photography techniques. He is a consultant for important clients, including Benetton Group, Diadora, Luxottica, Rossignol-Lange, Ditec Group, and Ugolini Design, creating computerization projects in the graphic sector, organizing work groups, and providing continuous training and refresher courses. He is a lecturer at public and private institutions, holding numerous courses and seminars in the fields of graphics, photography, multimedia, and visual merchandising.
Since 2000, he has developed a training program for professional photographers, analyzing the transition from analog to digital photography and handling all aspects of image post-production. He has participated in several seminars and workshops in the USA and Europe with leading experts in photography and image post-production, and he continually keeps up to date with new software in this field.
He has created and edited many publications in the artistic, cultural, and economic fields, and has organized exhibitions and events, creating presentations and setups using technology. Over the years, he has participated in photographic exhibitions and competitions, developing research themes on landscape and nature.
He has a particular focus on research into the evolution of metropolises, with his exhibition, "Shanghai, metropolis-metamorphosis (2000-2012)," being a notable example. His personal photographic research on the Dolomites has led him to be a guest at several events, presenting and discussing his work in various contexts and locations. Among the many events, the important exhibitions in Brazil in 2014-2015 are worth mentioning: Foz do Iguaçu, Curitiba, and Campo Grande, all initiatives sponsored by UNESCO.
In 2016, he exhibited at the 15th Venice Architecture Biennale, participating in the collateral event "Without land/Senza terra" on the splendid island of San Servolo.
