Three decades of experience in the graphic and publishing industry, Giovanni Favero has mastered the entire lifecycle of the image—from the initial shutter click to the final high-quality print. A pioneer of the digital revolution, he was among the first to integrate Apple’s early computing systems into professional Computer Graphics and Desktop Publishing.
His expertise led him to become a strategic consultant for global brands such as Benetton Group, Luxottica, and Rossignol-Lange, where he designed complex computerization workflows and led high-level training programs. As an educator, he has shared his knowledge of visual merchandising and digital photography through seminars at prestigious public and private institutions.
Since 2000, he has been at the forefront of the transition from analog to digital, developing specialized training for professional photographers and mastering the nuances of post-production. His commitment to technical excellence is backed by continuous research and workshops alongside leading international experts across Europe and the USA.
In his personal artistic practice, Giovanni Favero focuses on the profound dialogue between landscape and nature. His work explores the evolution of the modern metropolis—most notably in the project "Shanghai: Metropolis-Metamorphosis (2000-2012)"—and the timeless majesty of the Dolomites.
His photographic research has gained international recognition, including a series of UNESCO-sponsored exhibitions in Brazil (2014-2015) across Foz do Iguaçu, Curitiba, and Campo Grande. In 2016, his work was featured at the 15th Venice Architecture Biennale within the collateral event "Without Land / Senza Terra" on the Island of San Servolo.
